📋 Description

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the aviation fleet at base and remote locations • Coordinate with the internal Charter team and outside vendors to ensure flight safety, legal and regulatory compliance, and minimize operational interruptions • Manage AOGs, mechanical interruptions, in-flight emergencies, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with pilots, the Charter team, and DOM/Assistant DOM • Order and manage parts for maintenance and coordinate core returns with the Parts team when applicable • Evaluate aircraft discrepancies and develop repair or recovery plans • Communicate return-to-service estimates for AOG aircraft to the Charter team • Monitor aircraft hours, cycles, time-sensitive inspections, and MEL/NEF/CDL expiration times • Evaluate aircraft schedules for service checks and cleanings • Maintain the aircraft due list and discrepancies/deferrals in the web-based flight schedule • Coordinate ferry flights to maintenance providers when applicable • Maintain Summit maintenance web-based pass-down/turnover • Audit return-to-service paperwork, file digital copies, and ensure original paperwork is mailed to the home base • Ensure maintenance activities follow current FAA regulations and OEM-approved data • Perform other assigned TransMedics tasks and duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Jet Aviation Maintenance, Military Aviation Maintenance, or a combination of both • Valid and violation-free Airframe and Powerplant certificate • Maintain a valid driver’s license • Previous Part 135 experience preferred, but not required • Knowledge of current FAA regulations and OEM-approved data
