πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Perform forensic investigations involving structural failures and property damage β€’ Evaluate roofing systems, foundation settlement, retaining walls, water intrusion, structural distress, and sinkhole-related damage β€’ Perform field inspections and analyze findings β€’ Prepare comprehensive engineering reports β€’ Provide expert opinions and technical recommendations for clients and stakeholders β€’ Collaborate with insurance carriers, attorneys, property owners, and consultants β€’ Maintain and develop client relationships to support business growth β€’ Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and marketing initiatives

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Licensed Structural Forensic Engineer β€’ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering β€’ Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Tennessee PE preferred β€’ Additional state PE licenses highly desirable β€’ Extensive experience in forensic engineering and insurance-related investigations β€’ Strong technical report writing, analytical, and communication skills β€’ Ability to work independently in a remote environment β€’ Proven client management and relationship-building abilities β€’ Experience with property and casualty insurance claim investigations preferred β€’ Experience with structural damage assessments and failure analysis preferred β€’ Experience with roofing and building envelope evaluations preferred β€’ Experience with foundation settlement and retaining wall investigations preferred β€’ Experience with water infiltration and moisture-related damage assessments preferred β€’ Experience with sinkhole and geotechnical-related structural evaluations preferred β€’ Business development or seller-doer experience preferred
