• Dispatch all service orders to field service personnel within fifteen minutes of order entry • Control and oversee that cases are properly dispatched, completed, picked up, and processed according to policies and procedures • Review, organize, and distribute cases using coverage-area knowledge and available on-duty phlebotomists • Track all dispatched assignments throughout the shift and conduct case follow-up • Ensure completion of work assignments and provide assistance where needed • Prepare daily work assignments for multiple phlebotomists • Maintain communication throughout shifts, including tracking and rerouting cases when necessary • Coordinate with Area/Regional Phlebotomy Management, Logging Area, Stat Tracking, Customer Service, Call Center, Redraw Department, and Courier Services • Accommodate facility special requests, prioritize urgent laboratory orders, and conduct constant follow-up • Provide detailed written documentation of issues • Conduct mild investigations, troubleshooting, and immediate problem handling when necessary • Notify the Dispatch Manager immediately of difficult-to-control issues • Identify self-improvement needs and adapt to proposed changes • Perform other assigned duties and assist with office attendance issues • Handle high-volume calls and dispatch assistance requests from facilities, phlebotomists, call center staff, and field employees
• High school graduate or GED • Proficient to expert use of Microsoft Office software • Ability to communicate clearly, listen, confirm messages, and relay necessary information • Ability to focus on tasks in a busy call-center environment • Private workspace free from external sounds and distractions • Must meet safety checklist requirements • High-speed internet connection supporting VoIP communications • Fiber or cable internet recommended; DSL and satellite connections not recommended • Must successfully pass TridentCare's Network Performance Test • Access to a PC capable of running the network test; Chromebook not accepted • Availability for either Thursday–Monday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. CST, or Friday–Tuesday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. CST • Dispatch and routing knowledge preferred at novice level • Customer service knowledge preferred • Intermediate computer skills preferred
