📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and shape member and community stories from story opportunity cultivation and first contact through final edit • Produce written, video, and audio stories • Develop, write, edit, and proof content for websites, publications, and member communication materials • Apply brand standards, accessibility requirements, and readability guidelines to communications • Coordinate development and distribution of email communications, including list management and reporting • Maintain and update website content in coordination with internal teams and external partners • Ensure communications align with organizational branding guidelines and messaging standards

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing; OR Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in these fields; OR Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in these fields; OR equivalent combination of education and experience • Valid driver's license • Must reside within North Carolina • Must be able to travel within catchment as required • Experience writing for health care, behavioral health, public health, human services, government, or nonprofit audiences preferred • Familiarity with Medicaid, plain-language writing, or person-first language is a plus • Experience with videography and video editing, including filming interviews and editing short-form content for digital platforms preferred • All candidates must pass a drug test as a condition of employment
