📋 Description

• Design and implement reporting applications, including BI dashboards, reporting cubes, emails, and batch reports • Work with project leads, business users, and analysts to gather requirements, conduct design sessions, and prepare specifications • Translate project requirements into functional and technical specifications for BI reports, dashboards, and analytical applications • Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plans • Contribute to and support the organization's short- and long-term Business Intelligence strategy • Provide production support for Business Intelligence capabilities • Mentor, assist, and train BI Developers, Data Analysts, and power users • Lead peer reviews of solution designs and code reviews • Assist end users with questions about appropriate use of BI tools and data • Manage deliverable scope within release timeframes, optimize programmer resources, and fulfill project plan or SLA obligations • Manage dependencies and identify efficiencies to package project deliverables into viable business capabilities/releases • Coordinate with revenue cycle colleagues on requirements for infrastructure and desktop configurations supporting end-user tools • Determine feasibility of integrating end-user tools and upgrades with existing and future infrastructure with Operations staff • Provide input to RC Data Analytics strategic objectives and follow vendor selection/evaluation processes with the Solutions Architect • Reinforce and assist in defining the vision and direction of the RC Data Analytics team • Cultivate positive, professional, and collaborative working relationships within RC Data Analytics and with PBSs and RHMs • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, compliance programs, Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology, including five (5) years working as a BI developer in a large data warehouse and business intelligence environment • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with BI technologies such as Business Objects, Cognos, Qlikview, and Tableau • Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing and tuning advanced SQL • Mastery and experience creating and maintaining Business Intelligence tool suites • Functional and technical knowledge of supported enterprise data delivery tools • Experience evaluating, implementing, and deploying self-service BI tools • Experience with report design and delivery, dashboards, metrics, analytics, objects, rules engines, tool upgrades, tool usage statistics, and SPSS statistics calculations and integration • Expertise in different data modeling methodologies, such as 3NF • Strong proficiency leading technical projects, assignments, and analysis • Experience interfacing with director-level and staff positions • Experience working with healthcare business disciplines including Operations, Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Administration • Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in teams and in a self-directed work environment • Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment • Ability to travel in the course of completing project assignments • Ability to meet established deadlines • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare nomenclature preferred
