📋 Description

• Supervise daily operations of the CDI program for the Health Ministries within their region • Directly oversee the Clinical Documentation Specialist and Clinical Documentation Integrity Coordinator • Ensure timely and compliant processes within the region • Provide quality and productivity monitoring and participate in performance improvement initiatives • Train and educate clinical documentation specialists to enhance their skill sets • Collaborate with clinical staff and teams to facilitate documentation within the medical record • Ensure appropriate and accurate DRG assignment and conduct CDI reviews when needed • Maintain adherence to compliance and regulatory standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare related field or Nursing or equivalent in experience • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or equivalent certification • Minimum of five (5) years of current hospital clinical documentation integrity program experience • Two (2) or more years of current experience supervising hospital clinical documentation integrity program • Thorough knowledge of CMS regulations, coding guidelines and DRG reimbursement • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal Hospital Acquired Conditions (HAC) and other applicable quality indicator codes • Expertise with 3M CDI Software • Working knowledge of Epic EMR preferred • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills
