📋 Description

• Write, test, and document SQL against large data sets to answer business questions, validating results before they are shared • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in Power BI, keeping definitions consistent with team standards • Analyze performance trends across sales, operations, and merchandising to surface risks and opportunities • Turn analysis into a clear written or visual story with findings, supporting evidence, and caveats • Present results to business partners and department leadership and answer questions about method and data quality • Support senior analysts on larger, cross-functional analyses and modeling work • Use team-standard methodologies for data collection and metric calculation • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Governance to flag and resolve data quality issues • Participate in peer review by submitting work and reviewing others' work • Work with business analysts to clarify requirements and translate them into an analytical approach • Investigate data discrepancies and reporting issues, including root cause analysis, and document findings • Mine multiple data sets for trends and anomalies, distinguishing correlation from causation • Build a working understanding of the Trulieve business model and key metric drivers • Support a data-literate culture by making work reproducible and definitions explicit

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in an analyst or reporting role • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; equivalent practical experience considered • Proficient in SQL, including joins, aggregation, window functions, and CTEs • Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or a comparable BI tool • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and analytical functions • Working knowledge of applied statistics • Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain a result and its caveats to a non-technical audience • Curious, detail-oriented, and willing to say when a number does not look right • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset; comfortable asking questions and working with moderate direction • Familiarity with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks • Exposure to Python for data analysis (pandas or similar) is preferred • Experience with retail, wholesale, or multi-location operations data is preferred • Experience in a regulated industry such as cannabis, pharma, alcohol, or tobacco is a plus • Exposure to SAP S/4 or another ERP is a plus • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus • Comfortable with PowerPoint for presenting findings • Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
