📋 Description

• Lead cost management services for key clients or several clients • Lead cost management teams and ensure delivery of accountabilities • Interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, general contractors, and owner’s representatives throughout all project stages • Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management throughout the project lifecycle • Coordinate Turner & Townsend activities within the overall construction process • Assist with strategic and operational management of Cost Management and Project Controls Services • Serve as first point of contact for reporting project commercial status • Drive best practices and improve cost management procedures, processes, templates, and products • Conduct staff performance reviews and set team strategy • Coach and mentor talent • Track commission margins, fee/resource forecasts, and financial reports using internal software • Develop priority plans, risk mitigation, KPIs, management controls, and critical success factors • Implement and maintain Business Management Systems, delivery methodologies, and tools • Undertake internal BMS audits and coordinate external certification audits • Develop market knowledge, act as a brand ambassador, and create an opportunity pipeline • Advise clients on contracting, procurement strategy, capital planning, and reporting • Participate in leadership meetings and prepare and deliver presentations • Provide weekly project, initiative, and staffing updates and propose solutions • Identify cross-selling and business generation opportunities • Generate proposals and RFP responses • Capture commission knowledge and learning in internal databases • Attend relevant networking events • Adhere to applicable SOX control responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering preferred • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry • Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred • SME in Quantity Surveying • RICS certified or equivalent accreditation • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to work in a client-facing role • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
