đź“‹ Description
• Provide small group virtual instruction to K-12 students across the United States • Deliver virtual ELA and Math tutoring, currently focused on 6th-8th grade math teachers • Support school-partner engagements including summer academies and remediation support • Participate in engagements lasting approximately fourteen to thirty weeks • Commit a few hours during the week for tutoring engagements • Log in early, complete light preparation, and write session notes as covered by the compensation • Express interest in and accept available tutoring opportunities after admission to the teacher community
🎯 Requirements
• Experience as a US teacher • Experience teaching Math in the classroom • Experience teaching in an online environment • Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom • Experience teaching 6th-8th grade math • Bonus: experience with remediation, intervention, or small group instruction • Bonus: experience with secondary math • Bonus: SPED or ELL teaching experience • Bonus: bilingual ability • Bonus: AP course experience • Dedication to advancing equity in schools • Active teaching credential listed as a bonus
🏖️ Benefits
• Up to $32.00 per hour of tutoring plus a 10% bonus • $35.30 per one-hour tutoring session including the bonus • Flexible hours • Opportunities to take on supplemental work such as interviewing, customer success, content work, or mentoring • Access to the TbT Teacher Community and updates on new tutoring opportunities first
