📋 Description

• Manage client engagements and optimize financial processes • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reconciliations • Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and financial forecasts • Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain audit-ready financial records • Use FloQast for close management, reconciliation tracking, and workflow automation • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to clients • Lead client onboarding and Sage Intacct implementations • Provide fractional Controller-level support and strategic financial insights • Assist with accounting system implementation and migration • Analyze and optimize clients’ use of Sage Intacct • Train clients on effective Sage Intacct use • Conduct quarterly financial reviews with clients • Maintain minimum billable hours defined by leadership • Recommend improvements to clients’ HR and payroll efficiency • Collaborate with sales and account management teams • Identify service expansion opportunities and client value areas • Leverage Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online for reporting, automation, and process optimization • Support financial technology integration projects • Assist with payroll processing and compliance • Drive continuous improvement initiatives • Guide and mentor Staff Accountants • Review Staff Accountant work for accuracy and best-practice adherence • Act as a subject matter expert for Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, and cloud-based financial tools • Participate in global accounting meetings • Work cross-functionally with operations and finance teams • Assist with audit schedules, tax filings, and compliance documentation • Prepare financial data, reports, and insights for leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience as a Senior Accountant, Senior Staff Accountant or Sr. Controller, preferably in outsourced accounting, advisory services, or a CPA firm • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 12+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree • CPA or CPA eligibility preferred • Proficiency in Sage Intacct (Required), including core financial modules, financial report creation, multi-entity environments, and advanced workflows • Experience using FloQast for close management, reconciliation tracking, and workflow automation (Required) • Strong technical expertise in multi-entity, multi-currency accounting functions • Experience with payroll, sales tax filings, and financial audits • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Background in SaaS, outsourced accounting, or financial consulting preferred • Familiarity with ERP implementations and financial technology integrations preferred • Experience in client-facing financial advisory roles preferred • Ability to work a flexible and regular full-time schedule • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone, and by computer
