• Teach asynchronous undergraduate and graduate courses to adult learners • Deliver high-quality, engaging online instruction • Connect learning experiences to workforce skills and professional advancement • Foster supportive and inclusive learning environments for adult learners • Prioritize student learning, achievement, and timely feedback • Maintain communication with students and respond promptly to inquiries • Ensure academic integrity and uphold university policies • Collaborate with academic support teams to enhance student experience • Support NAEYC accreditation efforts • Develop and improve courses, course materials, and innovative teaching practices • Collaborate with instructional designers, assessment specialists, and other experts • Review, support, and mentor associate faculty • Lead continuous improvement of curriculum and instructional design • Collaborate with student success, student affairs, library, writing center, access and wellness, academic advising, and career services teams • Support students’ connection to the university in an online environment • Participate in department, college, and university meetings • Engage in shared governance activities and committees • Participate in search and hiring committees • Support accreditation and continuous improvement efforts • Mentor and support faculty and staff • Participate in the NAEYC self-study process
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child and Family Studies, Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Education, or a closely related field from an accredited institution • Evidence of promise or experience demonstrating adequate training, depth of knowledge in a particular specialty, and capacity to undertake high-quality teaching and service • Familiarity with best practices in teaching and learning, including curriculum development assessment strategies, especially in virtual environments • Collaborative and student-centered approach to leadership and instructional support • Commitment to a student-centered Culture of Care, including proactive outreach, timely feedback, and individualized support • Demonstrated knowledge of the NAEYC Professional Standards and Competencies for Early Childhood Educators, including experience applying the standards to early childhood curriculum, assessment, program development, or continuous improvement • Skill in using educational technology and learning management systems • Ability to interpret student success data and use insights to improve teaching practices and curricular design • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position • Global Campus Professor rank expectations include a terminal degree and 8 years full-time college teaching experience
