• Assist the Student Accounts Manager in monitoring, reviewing, and improving department business activities • Analyze student accounts and reconcile award years • Counsel students on document intake, awarding, disbursement, withdrawal, payment plans, financial obligations, re-entry policies, and student financing processes • Review post-withdrawal disbursement and R2T4 processes and calculations • Review and complete Regent tasks and documents to ensure students are Ready to Package • Respond to student account inquiries and perform quality assurance reviews • Resolve escalated student issues and disputes • Collaborate with Enrollment Services, Student Services, Accounting, Collections, Strategic Partnerships, and other departments • Establish strategies to help students resolve outstanding account balances • Address invoicing inquiries from students and employers providing tuition assistance • Reconcile accounts and submit invoices to students and employers • Develop processes for specialized invoicing • Track funds received, invoiced amounts, and amounts needed for future invoicing • Coordinate student ledger activities with other departments • Monitor billing and payment processes and schedule agency payments • Review Letters of Credit, Vouchers, and Course Approvals • Review NSLDS, COD, and CPS information to determine student eligibility • Perform third-party reconciliation • Oversee departmental User Acceptance Testing for system updates • Prepare invoices for students and third-party agencies • Produce ad hoc reports and participate in workgroups • Manage assigned accounts, prioritize workload, pursue account resolution goals, and provide customer service • Resolve accounts receivable balances and communicate with students regarding collection efforts • Prepare, review, and act on account aging and student activity reports • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required • 1 year of relevant work experience required • Familiarity with Title IV federal regulations a plus • Experience with student information systems preferred • Higher-education finance-related experience required • Attention to detail and strong mathematical and critical thinking skills • Outstanding organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities accurately in a high-volume environment • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to articulate detailed financial information over the phone • Customer service experience skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
