📋 Description
• Successfully complete a comprehensive surety underwriting training program consisting of mentoring, self-study, and on-line learning. • Gain an understanding and develop analytical skills on how to investigate, analyze, and underwrite surety business profitably. • Underwrite new submissions and existing accounts with assistance from mentors. • Evaluate and assess financial status, credit standing, and organization profile to analyze and determine acceptability of the risk within the framework of UFG underwriting policies and procedures. • Assist surety underwriters in processing their books of business. • Provide high-quality customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education or surety experience. • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or accounting preferred. • Certified, or working towards, AFSB designation, preferred. • 1+ years of professional work experience preferred.
