⢠Provide administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer ⢠Support the Grants and Fiscal Compliance team ⢠Record deposits, payments, and receipts to appropriate programs and accounts ⢠Provide high-level general clerical support ⢠Maintain collaborative working relationships with UFW Foundation staff ⢠Report to the Chief Financial Officer ⢠Assist the Director of Grants and Budgets and the Controller with AP/AR duties as directed ⢠Assist the CFO with preparing presentation materials on financial matters, including confidential information ⢠Prepare reports, statistical data, and other requested materials ⢠Prepare, format, edit, proofread, and revise written materials ⢠Maintain grant information in accounting systems, including Concur, Acumatica, and Workday ⢠Reconcile monthly payments and fees, including Merchant Store revenue and online donations ⢠Maintain confidentiality of financial data ⢠Plan, coordinate, and execute business requests ⢠Prepare spreadsheets, schedules, reconciliations, and analyses ⢠Prepare monthly balance sheets for general ledger accounts ⢠Perform bank reconciliations ⢠Conduct trend analysis and activity-detail analysis ⢠Perform other duties as assigned
⢠At least one (1) year of Accounting education ⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office ⢠Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and databases ⢠Proficiency in Excel ⢠Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations ⢠Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals ⢠Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, campus staff and students, government officials, and the general public ⢠Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages ⢠Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry ⢠Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions ⢠Professionalism and organization ⢠Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities independently and as a team member ⢠Analytical and detail-oriented approach with ability to meet deadlines ⢠Collaborative, professional, and solutions-oriented working style ⢠Genuine interest in immigrant and farm worker rights ⢠Succinct, informative, and respectful written and verbal communication ⢠Strict adherence to confidentiality ⢠Understanding of funding agency relations and compliance requirements ⢠Ability to adapt to changing priorities with speed, precision, and accuracy ⢠Ability to work collaboratively and independently ⢠Must be computer literate ⢠Vaccination is not currently mandatory; vaccination/booster requirements may be reinstated if necessitated by a pandemic
