• Assist in developing construction plans and specifications for utility-scale wind, solar, and/or BESS renewable projects • Work closely with engineering technicians and experienced engineers on multiple assigned projects • Perform civil design tasks, including design calculation reports, grading and erosion control plans, construction details, and stormwater management design • Design and produce work in AutoCAD Civil 3D • Prepare project quantity take-offs and/or cost estimates • Support and develop project permit applications • Participate in resolving design problems through field investigations or observations • Perform design calculations, sketches, and plan preparation with project discipline leads • Provide technical comparisons and similar technical work within the assigned market
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required • EIT certification or ability to obtain it within 1 year of hire • Prior engineering internship experience preferred • Ability to apply standard engineering principles and practices • Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access • AutoCAD experience preferred • Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience desired • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Commitment to client satisfaction and client-driven standards, schedules, and budgets • Passion for the renewable energy industry
