📋 Description

• Design high-voltage (69kV–500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD • Complete complex project assignments using advanced engineering techniques, theory, precepts, and practices • Provide expert consultation for technical plans and systems used in high-voltage transmission-line construction • Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and project team members • Act as client contact to determine project scope and understand requirements • Develop construction documents for transmission lines • Produce project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, structure framing and loading drawings, assembly drawings, structure foundation drawings, and construction specifications • Coordinate specific project design aspects • Estimate construction costs and specify materials • Maintain positive client relationships • Review project drawings, calculations, and specifications • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success • Assist in training and mentoring team members • Independently complete assigned tasks and manage individual workload

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school • Minimum of 7 years’ engineering experience • 5 years of Transmission Line Engineering or related experience required • PE license required • Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred • Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and AutoCAD is preferred • Proficiency in MFAD/LPILE is preferred • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Analytical, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment and a variety of situations • Ability to mentor less experienced engineers
