📋 Description

• Perform power system studies including short circuit, arc flash, load flow, transient overvoltage, and harmonics • Support wind, solar, and BESS generator owners with system studies • Use PSSE, ETAP, EasyPower, PSCAD, and other software packages • Utilize Python scripting to implement efficient processes • Help develop procedures for new study areas • Identify and support business development opportunities • Independently complete assigned tasks and manage workload • Collaborate with staff, management, clients, and external agencies • Apply evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows and solve problems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, from an ABET-accredited program, or equivalent required • Minimum of 5 years of working experience • At least 4 years of experience directly related to power systems • Experience with programming in Python preferred • Experience performing power system studies using PSSE, ETAP, EasyPower, PSCAD, and other software packages • EIT status and ability to work toward PE certification preferred • Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S. • Ability to independently complete assigned tasks • Ability to actively manage individual workload • Self-starter willing to identify and implement improvements • Analytical, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships • Openness to innovation and use of evolving technology and AI tools
