📋 Description

• Provide customer service and support for patients and staff through inbound and outbound phone calls • Answer multi-line telephones professionally • Make patients feel comfortable, at ease, and welcomed to the practice • Treat patients, visitors, and coworkers professionally and courteously • Schedule all types of appointments accurately and efficiently • Understand schedule templates for all providers and departments • Input patient demographic information accurately and completely • Coordinate work efforts with team members • Document patient requests and information • Maintain knowledge of office protocols and physician schedules • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Minimum one (1) year of customer service, call center, medical office, or healthcare experience preferred • Previous appointment scheduling experience preferred • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
