• Teach remotely in the Accounting & Cyber-Accounting program • Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates success and conveys energy and enthusiasm for learning • Guide students in active collaboration and application of learning through problem- and project-based learning demonstrations • Provide rich, regular constructive feedback and use rubrics effectively to assess student work • Acknowledge student accomplishments • Demonstrate relevant, current subject-matter expertise and help students connect concepts across their academic program • Provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements • Teach courses including Accounting Information Systems, CyberAccounting: Management and Compliance, Cyber Forensics in Accounting, Information Technology Auditing, and CyberAccounting: Risk Management
• A terminal degree (i.e. PhD, JD, DBA) in business or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning • At least one certification in the cybersecurity area from a professional organization, such as ISACA-issued CISA • Professional cybersecurity, auditing, compliance management, accounting, finance and/or business experience • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred • CPA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent certification is preferred • International degrees may require a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES approved vendor
• Health care, medical with vision, dental, and prescription plans for individuals and families; adjuncts are responsible for the total cost if enrolled • Term Life Insurance • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance • Supplemental retirement plans including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), and Roth options; no university matching funds • Required online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
