• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Data Management/Analytics or related disciplines according to University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current University course materials • Provide supplemental knowledge and real-world applications of course concepts • Make class materials available on time and provide timely instruction and discussion • Maintain an engaged online classroom presence and respond promptly to student inquiries • Create a supportive learning environment and address student academic issues • Coach, tutor, and identify additional resources to support student learning • Oversee clinical, practicum, or mentorship experiences when required • Attend faculty meetings, content area meetings, University events, and student graduations • Maintain current knowledge of course updates, instruction standards, and relevant University information • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge through employment, certifications/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations • Instruct and perform related duties in an online environment while maintaining active faculty status and adapting to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent
• Experience with Data Designing/Architect • Doctoral degree in Data Management/Analytics or Data Sciences; or doctorate in another area with 18 graduate credits in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Information Management, or a related area • Alternatively, minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Information Assurance, or a directly related field • Master’s degree or higher • Alternatively, minimum 10 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Information Assurance, or a directly related field, including Data/Information Management, Informatics/Data Analytics, related IT processes, or related IT staff as a primary job function, with 5 years as a manager or above • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution • Professional IT experience must directly apply to the content area • Experience with database development and SQL programming • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2 • Experience with SQL programming, informatics, and/or SQL application in data management, reporting, or analytics • Experience with data/information management, informatics/data analytics, database processes, or related IT staff as a primary job function • Professional use of Entity Relationship Diagrams or data normalization • Experience developing and maintaining databases with at least one enterprise-level database platform • Currency in the content area within the last 3 years • Graduate faculty must have one qualifying scholarship record within the last 5 years; those not currently meeting it may achieve compliance within one year of content-area approval • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High-level problem-solving and decision-making ability • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Ability to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
