📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current course materials • Share supplemental knowledge and experience connecting course concepts to real-world applications • Make class materials available to students in a timely manner • Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond to student inquiries promptly • Create a supportive learning environment and address student academic issues • Provide coaching, tutoring, and additional resources • Oversee student clinical, practicum, and mentorship experiences as required • Attend faculty meetings, University events, and student graduations • Maintain current knowledge of course updates, instruction standards, and relevant information • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through employment, licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations • Instruct and perform related duties in an online environment • Maintain understanding of University technology and adapt to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing, OR doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing, OR Master’s degree in Nursing • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution • Must have 6 applicable credits, including areas such as Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and/or Physical Assessment • Must have 5 years’ experience in a clinical nursing practice setting as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Nurse Educator • Minimum of 2 years of current applicable experience within the last 5 years • Active unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state the faculty works or resides, or a multistate RN license • One record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year timeframe • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High level of problem solving and decision-making ability • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Able to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
