📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accordance with University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current course materials • Share supplemental knowledge and experience connecting course concepts to real-world applications • Make class materials available promptly • Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner • Create a supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and academic success • Address student academic issues according to University policies • Provide coaching, tutoring, and additional resources • Oversee student clinical, practicum, or mentorship experiences as required • Attend faculty meetings and University events • Maintain knowledge of course updates, instruction standards, and relevant information • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge through employment, licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations • Instruct and perform related duties in an online environment • Maintain knowledge of University technology and adapt to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must have Pediatrics and Adolescent practice experience • Doctorate of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, or MD degree including Pediatrician; OR doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing; OR Master’s degree in Nursing • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution • Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Pediatrician with pediatric or adolescent practice experience • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the last 5 years • Active, unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Arizona Nurse or Multistate (RN) license • Arizona APRN certification in the state of residence and/or practice • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist, OR an MD license including Pediatrician • Acceptable professional position is a Nurse Practitioner or Pediatrician with pediatric or adolescent practice experience • One record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year timeframe • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Ability to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
