📋 Description

• Instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in specific disciplines according to University learning objectives and course outlines • Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using current course materials • Provide supplemental knowledge and connect course concepts to real-world applications • Make class materials available in a timely manner • Maintain an engaged classroom presence and respond promptly to student inquiries • Create a supportive learning environment and address student academic issues • Coach, tutor, and identify additional learning resources • Oversee student clinical, practicum, and mentorship experiences as required • Attend faculty meetings, University events, and student graduations • Maintain current knowledge of course updates, instruction standards, and relevant information • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through employment, certification/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and organizations • Instruct and perform related duties in an online environment • Maintain knowledge of University technology and adapt to technology changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must have experience with psychotherapy • Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, Medical Physician/Psychiatrist, and/or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine/Psychiatrist OR doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing OR Master’s degree in Nursing • Degree must be from a regionally accredited institution • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical nursing practice setting, with at least 2 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist using psychotherapy techniques for individuals, families, and groups • Must have 2 years of current experience within the last 5 years • Active, unencumbered or unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or Multistate • Active Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license • Active national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist • Medical Physicians require a current unencumbered or unrestricted license to practice • One record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year timeframe, or compliance within one year as specified • Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory • High level of problem solving and decision-making ability • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Technology proficiency, including Microsoft suite programs • Able to convey a professional image and represent the University appropriately
