📋 Description

• Develop, adapt, facilitate, and continuously improve research-based professional learning content and instructional resources for educators serving multilingual learners • Recommend and implement practice-centered and evidence-based approaches to professional learning • Facilitate engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences • Collaborate across teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of professional learning offerings • Contribute professional learning content across virtual, in-person, and self-paced workshops and educator instructional resources • Support Spanish-speaking educators and facilitate professional learning in both English and Spanish • Serve as a subject matter expert for Spanish-language professional learning initiatives • Travel up to 20% of the time • Participate in strategic planning and grant proposals for instructional development, teaching methods, and program direction • Develop teaching techniques and train staff in their use • Develop or design curriculum and instructional techniques • Assist in defining program objectives and carrying out program duties • Assess learner performance and prepare reports recommending instructional improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of US teaching experience serving multilingual learners in PreK-12 environments • Bilingual/biliterate in Spanish • Experience developing and facilitating professional learning related to multilingual learners in both English and Spanish • Experience developing materials and resources supporting educator professional development • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) • Knowledge of andragogy/adult learning theory • Experience collaborating, co-planning, and co-facilitating with other staff • Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve with colleagues and supervisors • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to work independently and manage workload to meet deadlines and expectations • Experience implementing ELD/SLD standards and resources and discussing their relationship to educational practice in PreK-12 environments • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in education or a related field required • Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship • Must live within 90 miles of a major US metropolitan airport • Ability to work in a Windows-based environment and use a PC
