📋 Description

• Assist in creating and testing research protocols in EMR infrastructure to support compliant billing practices • Collaborate with clinical researchers to identify data needs for clinical research projects, nursing excellence, and strategic initiatives • Support institutional compliance and oversight functions with the Research Office and IT • Identify research data gaps and improve, develop, and implement processes that increase data quality and reliability • Translate complex research, contract compliance, operations, and finance processes into system builds • Create and complete research protocol builds in EPIC, Cerner, and other systems • Design and build reports using Cerner, Epic, Power BI, Strata, and clinical trial management systems • Create and maintain research reports for protocol development, patient screening, eligibility, and requested data points • Develop REDCap databases for ULHRO, Nursing Education and Research, and other needs • Create and maintain monthly reports of key metrics and productivity for leadership analysis • Work additional hours occasionally to meet deadlines or support special projects • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Healthcare related field (required) • Equivalent work experience acceptable • Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare data (required) • Experience with Epic and/or Cerner (required) • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical research (preferred) • Experience with Academic REDCap (preferred) • Licensure: NA (required) • Certification: NA (required) • Must work First Shift (United States of America) • Must comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct

• Full-time exempt position working 80 productive hours each pay period • Paid biweekly • Flexible daily hours, provided no less than 80 productive hours are worked
