📋 Description

• Assist with planning, writing, and publishing content for franchisee and external customer audiences • Correspond with the franchise network on public relations and community relations questions • Educate the franchise network about PR support tools and content on the franchisee intranet • Assist with writing franchisee and customer stories, conducting interviews, and preparing editorial content for external release • Research new PR tactics and competitor trends • Provide updated content for the company website • Participate in Community Relations work supporting Corporate Social Responsibility charities • Help with special projects as needed • Analyze key data and interpret findings for larger Marketing campaigns

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of undergraduate education in Public Relations, Marketing Communication, Digital Engagement, and/or a related area of study preferred • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer • Employer will not sponsor a visa • Must be a rising college junior or senior, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to engage diverse audiences across multiple communication platforms • Knowledge of public relations skills, including writing and editing press releases and bylines, writing media pitches, and public speaking • Ability to balance multiple projects and expectations while meeting deadlines • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Professional verbal and written communication skills for internal, external, and franchisee audiences • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, think critically, ask questions, and provide creative ideas and feedback • Interest in supporting charitable causes • Experience using Microsoft Office suite preferred
