📋 Description

• Tutor students in physical therapy through Upswing’s online virtual classroom • Use the Socratic method to foster student independence and develop critical thinking skills • Conduct sessions using video, audio, chatbox, and whiteboard tools • Work according to tutor availability and student demand • Respond to session requests • Remain active during the fall and spring semesters • Complete subject matter evaluations if required before acceptance as an academic coach

🎯 Requirements

• Subject matter expertise or advanced knowledge in physical therapy gained through an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or professional experience • Reliable high-speed Internet • Quiet, distraction-free environment for conducting tutorials • Reliable laptop or desktop with camera and microphone functionality • Excellent grades in undergraduate or graduate school • Enjoyment of teaching others and helping people solve problems • Availability to tutor a minimum of 2–5 hours per week during the fall and spring semester • Background in teaching methodology, instruction, or college-level tutoring experience highly preferred • Responsiveness to session requests • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills • Ability to receive payments via PayPal • College transcripts required • May need to complete subject matter evaluations before acceptance as an academic coach
