📋 Description

• Own the user experience of Upwardly Global’s platform end-to-end • Lead design projects from user flows and wireframes through prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and visual assets • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business and technical requirements • Design conversational and AI-guided experiences across chat, voice, and assistant-driven flows • Design mobile-first, accessible, clear experiences for users navigating English as a second or third language • Design data-rich interfaces such as dashboards, progress indicators, and assessment/scoring displays • Apply information hierarchy and visual encoding, including color, iconography, and progressive disclosure • Own and evolve the design system, including documentation, style guides, component patterns, and asset libraries • Ensure design consistency, brand alignment, and clean handoff to engineering • Iterate and improve UX solutions based on feedback from users, team members, and stakeholders • Help plan and conduct usability tests, analyze results, and identify opportunities to improve the user experience

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in UX and product design • Well-designed portfolio demonstrating relevant design projects and skills, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design • Experience designing AI-powered or conversational products, including chatbots, voice agents, or AI assistants • Experience designing end-to-end, consumer-facing product experiences • Experience designing learning or educational products, including structured content, progression, and progress-tracking systems • Familiarity with LLM-based feature behavior, including latency, variability, and incorrect-output risks • Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as React/component-based frameworks • Experience designing accessible, mobile-first interfaces • Knowledge of WCAG compliance • Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and user research techniques • Ability to work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and demonstrate professionalism • Growth mindset and commitment to continual skill development • Excitement about Upwardly Global’s mission • Portfolio link or 3–5 relevant work samples required with application
