📋 Description

• Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed data and reporting requirements • Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare and operational data from multiple sources, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau • Work with data engineering and IT teams to validate data pipelines and ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency • Support data governance and standardization efforts for consistent definitions and usage of healthcare metrics • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with key stakeholders to share findings and gather feedback • Create documentation of analytical methods, data sources, and assumptions • Conduct root cause analysis on variances in clinical or operational performance • Participate in planning, development, and deployment of analytics initiatives, tools, and solutions • Stay up-to-date with trends in healthcare analytics, informatics, and regulatory reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a healthcare or clinical analytics environment • Knowledge of and experience in software development with special focus in Enterprise Data Warehousing • Excellent communication, professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Solid understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or population health data • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with querying complex datasets from data warehouses or clinical data repositories • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms • Ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders and translate data into actionable insights • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team setting • Demonstrated experience in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and designing metrics for operational tracking • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines • Understanding of data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA compliance • Experience working with clinical data (EHRs, claims, billing, etc.) and large-scale data systems in a healthcare setting is highly desirable • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred • Exposure to healthcare quality reporting, regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, HEDIS), or clinical outcome analysis is a plus • Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds • Required to have close visual acuity to perform job functions such as reviewing reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets
