📋 Description

• Oversee all replenishment activities for the assigned region • Train staff to drive consistent processes and procedures • Manage performance results against established KPI goals • Resolve issues, take corrective actions, and make decisions as needed • Ensure clear communication among all stakeholders • Serve as a subject matter expert for replenishment activities • Optimize legacy processes and build future solutions using a continuous improvement mindset • Provide guidance on markets, market calls for pricing, national pricing guidance, and strategic buys across the national platform • Serve as working manager responsible for large strategic buys • Own Commodity Intel research and market calls • Support sales as a subject matter expert working directly with select large accounts • Collaborate with sales on inventory positions and margins • Own national inventory positioning and excess and obsolete inventory management • Supervise Commodity Managers Stock Yards (3) and PSSA • Manage Stock Yards vendors and customers • Travel overnight as needed for trainings, meetings, or other company events

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience with Grinds preferred • Basic Computer knowledge is required • MS Office • Minimum 7 year of purchasing experience in proteins required • Five years managing Buyers required • Overnight travel may be required to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events • Demonstrates ability to lead, manage, and train others • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once • Ability to function autonomously with very little direction or input • Must be able to achieve performance objectives • Possess a high degree of diplomacy, tact, tenacity and persistence to deal effectively with other stakeholders • Must be organized and have strong communication and follow up skills • Bachelors degree in related field or 10 years equivalent work experience required • Must be able to perform the listed physical activities for the required durations
