📋 Description
• Provide direct audiological services to children and students in all age groups • In-services, consultation, technical assistance, testing, hearing assistive technology (selection, fitting, monitoring) • Verification of hearing aids and cochlear implants • Counseling and rehabilitation services offered primarily in schools and in homes
🎯 Requirements
• Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification • Must possess or be eligible for current state licensure in Audiology • Certain positions may require a Hearing Aid Dispensing License • Some experience in educational setting preferred
