📋 Description

• Create original exam-style questions and answer explanations for UWorld's digital MCAT Biochemistry question bank • Develop digital and print educational materials, including video lecture slides and scripts, educational flashcards, biochemistry and Chemistry review books and study guides, and other curricular materials • Ensure content is accurate, clear, and aligned with applicable MCAT content specifications and educational objectives • Apply sound instructional principles to make complex scientific concepts accessible to students • Review and refine existing content, incorporating editorial and subject-matter feedback • Respond to content feedback and make revisions to maintain accuracy, precision, and instructional effectiveness • Collaborate remotely with editors, illustrators, and other content professionals throughout development and review • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of UWorld's proprietary educational materials

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry, or a related biomedical science field; PhD preferred • Demonstrated experience writing, editing, or reviewing academic or instructional content • 2+ years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level • 2+ years of scientific research experience • Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly • Experience writing multiple-choice questions, answer explanations, or test-preparation materials preferred • Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content development preferred • Familiarity with the MCAT and its content specifications preferred • Experience developing educational materials for digital learning platforms preferred • Strong subject-matter expertise in biochemistry • Excellent scientific writing and editing skills • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, student-friendly explanations • Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines • Receptiveness to feedback and ability to incorporate revisions effectively • Strong organizational and communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common digital collaboration tools
