📋 Description

• Facilitate successful patient journeys to and while on therapy through care coordination, education, and psychosocial support • Provide medication and disease-state education • Provide clinical feedback to enhance the clinical portion of patient support programs • Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers regarding assigned therapeutic areas • Establish relationships, develop trust, and maintain rapport in a 100% telephonic setting • Counsel and educate patients on product use, dosing and administration, device use, insurance coverage, and reimbursement challenges in telephonic or virtual settings • Evaluate and contribute to development of program resources • Coordinate and secure financial assistance options for patients with financial need • Follow program guidelines and escalate complex cases according to policy and procedures • Receive and make calls regarding disease states, products, patient needs, insurance coverage, and financial support • Maintain and navigate patient account records in a digital CRM • Support healthcare provider offices with prescription questions, concerns, or challenges • Report and document adverse events and product/safety complaints according to program SOPs • Participate in program-specific customer meetings, training sessions, and orientation meetings • Demonstrate clinical and program competency on written, evaluated tests • Advocate for patients and healthcare providers regarding insurance coverage, medical billing, reimbursement, and access to complex pharmaceuticals • Follow corporate policies, procedures, SOPs, and training deadlines • Perform additional assigned tasks and projects

🎯 Requirements

• AD or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN, RN) with a valid nursing license in one or more states • Four or more years of nursing experience; prior telephonic experience a plus • Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and reimbursement/insurance, healthcare billing, physician office, health insurance processing or related reimbursement experience a plus • Clear and effective oral and written communication; may be asked to submit a written test sample • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel and Adobe • Experience and comfort with a digital CRM required • Attention to detail and follow-through in communication with patients and providers • Empathetic listening skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and pivot with ease • Strong customer service experience and skills • Must be eligible to obtain licensure in all 50 states • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy preferred • Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen
