📋 Description

• Support an environmentally focused Federal Government client and its information systems • Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and plan work • Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and address conflicts • Ensure the team remains focused, productive, and aligned with project goals • Coach the Scrum team on Agile and Scrum principles, roles, and responsibilities • Guide the team toward self-organization and collaborative decision-making • Work with the Product Owner to keep the Product Backlog clear, prioritized, and understood • Monitor progress toward the Sprint Goal • Foster continuous improvement and help implement process changes • Ensure requirements are well-defined and understood • Provide stakeholders with project progress and risk updates • Ensure adherence to agile practices and contract requirements • Collaborate with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to meet business needs • Communicate team progress, issues, and risks • Support development and maintenance of multiple information systems for tracking and reporting environmental data

🎯 Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required • At least five years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting complex IT projects • Experience working in a government contracting environment • Deep understanding of agile principles and methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean • Strong facilitation and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve impediments • Strong leadership skills to motivate and empower teams • Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred, but not required • Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, and Asana • Knowledge of code repository tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit • Knowledge of communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, automation, and monitoring • Knowledge of programming languages and software development practices • Quiet, distraction-free workspace with adequate internet • Availability during core business hours aligned with coworkers and clients
