• Actively participate in design and analysis processes • Recommend improvements to design criteria, analysis methods, and drafting procedures • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Service, Quality Assurance, and Engineering Services • Understand the full product development process • Assist in troubleshooting design challenges • Apply and expand design knowledge while considering manufacturability and efficiency of final designs • Learn best practices from experienced engineers and subject matter experts • Contribute to the goals of the North America Steel Design Engineering team
• Rising junior or senior currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university • Completion of Statics and Mechanics of Materials coursework • Proficiency with CAD applications, including the ability to convert drawings to 3D models • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Coursework or experience in Structural Analysis, Steel Design, and Strength of Materials, along with advanced CAD skills and design application experience is highly preferred
