📋 Description

• Contribute reliably and consistently under tight deadlines • Stay up to date on the latest technology news, product launches, and updates • Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback • Input work into the in-house CMS according to editorial guidelines • Cover timely, informative technology news across PC hardware, operating systems, software and applications, mobile, emerging technology, streaming, and automotive topics

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be located in the US or Canada • Relevant experience writing and editing in English • Ability to think analytically and clearly explain why a news story matters • Strong familiarity with one or more listed coverage areas • Ability to work within a US time zone, preferably EST • Self-starter attitude • CV • Cover letter explaining why you want to write for How-To Geek • 2–3 tech news articles demonstrating writing ability • Relevant writing samples are required • Must be comfortable working under a 1099 freelance contract
