📋 Description

• Provide individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses, health psychology presentations, psychosocial stressors, grief, phase-of-life difficulties, and mild-to-severe mental health presentations • Provide cognitive screenings addressing functional and cognitive ability questions • Provide immediate clinical assessment and collaborative care for mental and behavioral health symptoms • Complete psychosocial assessments to determine patient and family functioning and needs • Apply medical and mental health diagnoses and treatment knowledge, including illnesses, medications, side effects, and medical terminology • Follow suicide prevention guidelines and risk-assessment documentation and training requirements • Provide DSM diagnoses and treatment-related conclusions • Deliver emergency and crisis interventions, rapid assessments, and crisis management plans • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy when clinically indicated • Maintain knowledge of veterans' benefits, services, community resources, and referral processes • Provide case management throughout the continuum of care • Follow client regulations for documentation and encounter completion

🎯 Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice independently in any state as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW • Psychologists must have PsyPact in addition to state license • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited program, or doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program, depending on license type • Minimum 2 years' experience practicing therapy independently • Preferred experience providing therapy with veterans and military members • Experience consulting on mental health diagnoses and treatment plans for multidisciplinary professionals • Familiarity with DSM-5 clinical presentations and brief, evidence-based psychological interventions • Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment • Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Serious Mental Illness • Assessment and intervention skills, including specialized Evidence-Based Treatment experience • Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams • Knowledge of risk assessment and mental health crisis procedures • Experience with one or more Electronic Health Records • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams • Must be a US citizen and reside in the United States • Preferred depression modalities: ACT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-I, Interpersonal Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy • Preferred trauma modalities: Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training, CBT-I • Training related to suicide-risk management
