📋 Description

• Own the Security Service Line • Set the roadmap, tooling stack, and staffing model for the security operations • Define SLAs, escalation paths, and quality standards for 24/7 MDR delivery • Own the security incident response process end to end • Directly manage or oversee SOC/SecOps functions • Maintain and optimize the security tool stack • Evaluate and integrate new security tools and partners • Build, document, and manage administrative security programs • Lead compliance efforts for SOC 2 Type II, HITRUST, ISO 27001, etc. • Own compliance automation tooling • Act as the technical security authority in sales conversations • Partner with sales and leadership to scope client security needs • Build and lead the security operations team • Establish metrics and reporting for security posture and program maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience at an existing MSSP in a leadership or senior technical capacity • Hands-on experience with SecOps and SIEM tooling • Experience across the broader security stack • Proven experience building and managing administrative security/compliance programs • Direct experience with compliance automation platforms • Strong working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks • Ability to communicate security risk and posture clearly to both technical staff and business/executive stakeholders • Experience serving life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries (Preferred) • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC/GCIH, CISA) (Preferred) • Experience building a security service line or practice from an early stage (Preferred)
