📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Security Operations analyst team • Define the strategy for Vanta’s security operations team • Empower the team to implement robust security protocols and address emerging threats • Leverage AI to improve team-process efficiency and security-program maturity • Lead incident response from detection through remediation and prevention • Identify, develop, and implement new security operations processes • Identify new technologies and emerging threats • Plan technology-driven approaches to address new risks • Assist with investigations • Work cross-functionally to maintain compliance and improve security maturity • Report to the Director of Security

🎯 Requirements

• Strong leadership experience in security • Ability to lead a global team • Strong security operations experience • Experience implementing security controls in SaaS and cloud environments • Experience crafting detections and observability strategies for security events • Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and relevant industry regulations and standards • Experience ensuring compliance • Experience leveraging AI to improve security processes • Experience with incident response, including acting as incident commander • Ability to comprehensively assess and analyze security risks • Ability to prioritize risk remediation based on business goals and objectives • Ability to build trust and strong partnerships with internal teams • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly
