📋 Description

• Represent VAST Data at industry conferences, meetups, and events as a speaker • Design and deliver technical workshops • Build relationships with developer communities, AI practitioners, and data engineers • Participate in and nurture the Cosmos community of customers and partners • Develop technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and documentation • Create workshop materials for in-person and virtual delivery • Build applications, reference architectures, and proof-of-concepts • Design and implement hands-on labs for data pipelines and AI workflows • Demonstrate best practices for data platform implementations • Build and showcase integrations with popular frameworks • Serve as a technical advisor to sales engineers and customers • Collaborate with product teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements and product adoption • Develop proof-of-concept AI agents and data pipelines using VAST Data • Create educational content explaining how VAST Data enhances AI development workflows • Collaborate with partners to showcase pipelines used by their AI agents • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and frameworks to identify integration opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Background in software development, developer relations, advocacy, or technical evangelism • Proven experience presenting technical content through public speaking • Strong technical writing skills with a portfolio of blog posts, documentation, or technical content • Experience creating and delivering technical workshops or training programs • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives • Experience with modern AI frameworks and data processing technologies • Familiarity with distributed computing concepts and technologies • Software development experience using Python, SQL, vector databases, and tools used in data engineering • Understanding of modern advanced storage and compute architectures, particularly open-source, and their impact on data pipeline performance • Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies • Understanding of modern database technologies • Experience with VAST Data products or similar data platform technologies • Experience building and deploying data pipelines in production environments • Active social media presence in relevant technical communities • Previous experience working with enterprise customers in the data infrastructure space • Comfortable speaking in front of audiences with an engaging presentation style • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams • Creative problem-solver who can develop innovative demos and content • Passionate about technology education and knowledge sharing • Empathetic communicator who can understand and address customer pain points • Adaptable to changing priorities and emerging technologies • Approximately 20% travel for conferences, customer visits, and workshops
