📋 Description

• Perform field inspections and appraisals within the assigned territory • Determine appropriate replacement cost valuations • Identify potential risks and hazards, including property location, construction, and security measures • Identify collections, memorabilia, coins, and other unique assets during inspections • Discuss findings with underwriters to identify additional insurance product opportunities • Provide homeowners with risk-hardening guidance and loss-prevention recommendations • Educate policyholders on fire safety, security systems, disaster preparedness, and risk-reduction strategies • Work closely with outside appraisal partners • Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned territory • Stay updated on current pricing, industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging homeowners-insurance risks • Support other territories as necessary and attend professional functions • Collaborate with the underwriting department on property valuation reviews and risk mitigation plans • Coordinate with the Inspection Service Coordinator to ensure accurate scheduling and timely inspections • Collaborate with finance and accounting, actuarial, sales and marketing, claims, operations, and technology on special projects • Travel as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in high net worth risk services • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and techniques • Knowledge of potential risks faced by high net worth clients, including property vulnerabilities, liability exposures, unique assets, and lifestyle considerations • Thorough understanding of wind & CAT mitigation strategies • Construction knowledge/background preferred, but not required • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts and risk management strategies clearly and concisely • Strong customer service orientation • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Strong analytical abilities to assess complex risk profiles and evaluate insurance policies • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills • Proficiency in insurance-related software systems and tools • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience with LC360 preferred • Candidate must reside in or near Dallas, TX • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
