📋 Description

• Lead patient appointment and communication activities across Ambulatory Services • Determine and oversee operational and communication strategies through needs assessments and capacity management • Contribute information and analysis to organizational strategic plans and reviews • Oversee the quality and accuracy of communication content and deployment • Establish and manage communications operations, including appointment reminders, pre-service mailings and proactive care-gap closure • Develop, implement and execute communication strategies • Integrate multimedia communications for external audiences • Investigate, analyze and troubleshoot communication and appointment-system issues • Recommend and implement service-recovery strategies • Collaborate with senior leadership, providers and business partners to determine practice and program needs • Provide innovative solutions supporting patient access • Foster a world-class customer-service environment and organizational focus on consumer access and experience • Direct the work of an analyst team supporting communication activities • Develop standard patient messaging using telephonic, virtual and live resources • Supervise pre-visit and reminder messages across all mediums in partnership with clinics and providers

🎯 Requirements

• Permanently reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in a healthcare environment • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Knowledge of HIPAA, FERPA and other relevant privacy rules and policies • Experience managing large complex cross-functional projects • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or multi-track programs using project management practices, methodologies and process improvement techniques • Strong project management and business analysis skills • Ability to interpret business needs and translate needs to applications • Comfortable interacting with internal staff, management and clinic partners • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills • Ability to lead, delegate and influence • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects • Ability to work autonomously and manage change, shifting priorities, demands and timelines • Ability to supervise direct and indirect project team members • Must be willing and able to travel 15–20% as needed • Some extended and weekend hours may be required • Project Management Professional or Lean Six Sigma training preferred • Leadership, supervisory or project management experience preferred • Experience in academic medicine preferred • Experience developing patient communications for healthcare providers and diverse audiences preferred • Experience in project management, design and coordination preferred • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Health Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Information Systems or related field preferred • Physical ability to lift under 20 lbs.; prolonged standing, sitting and walking; strong recall, reasoning, problem solving, hearing, clear speech, legible writing, reading and logical thinking; ability to adapt to frequent change
