📋 Description

• Analyze real-world data to identify patterns for clinical and business cases, including treatment patterns and management costs • Identify key clinical events such as cancer progression and treatments using CPT, NDC, ICD codes, and structured database free text • Conduct statistical analysis and survival modeling for clinical events defined from real-world data • Visualize data findings and summarize them coherently • Support data scientists in developing digital pathology AI models • Partner with bioinformaticians, statisticians, and medical experts on manuscripts • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) • Convert insurance claims and EHR data into meaningful insights and stories • Understand business needs, identify relevant data, and process and analyze it accordingly • Prepare data and figures for academic manuscripts • Design graphics explaining AI models with clinical or genomic features

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent field; or Master with 4+ years of relevant post-graduate experience • Experience working with real-world insurance claims and EHR records • Expert in SQL and R or equivalent • Strong data cleanup, manipulation, and visualization skills using tidyverse and ggplot in R or equivalent • Proficiency in statistical analysis, especially survival modeling and hypothesis testing, including multivariate regression modeling with interaction effects • Experience working in cloud computing environments • Demonstrated proficiency and attention to detail in summarizing and communicating data findings • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred • Knowledge of basic bioinformatics, genomics, and cancer biology is preferred • Research experience in urological oncology, bioinformatics, digital pathology, or relevant fields is preferred • Research experience developing AI models such as LLM, vision, or time series foundation models is preferred
