📋 Description

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of energy construction project operations • Ensure customer satisfaction, quality, proactive improvement, and ongoing customer relationships • Develop procedures to improve project effectiveness and estimated job profits • Participate in scheduled meetings and inform management of issues and progress • Coordinate with human resources and safety on job-site issues • Coordinate purchasing and ensure necessary orders are placed • Review projects to control job costs and ensure profitability • Enforce company policies and report discrepancies • Provide project schedule input for resource planning • Assist preconstruction with estimating, proposals, and identifying cost or schedule issues • Direct and review designed submittal packages • Request and evaluate subcontractor proposals • Negotiate and notify subcontractors of bid awards • Prepare schedules of values, provide monthly progress billing amounts to accounting, and assist with collections • Set quality standards for installers, subcontractors, designers, programmers, and start-up technicians • Direct installation work by in-house installers and subcontractors • Identify causes of cost or schedule overruns and recommend corrective actions • Participate in internal and customer job progress meetings • Review daily reports, documentation, plan updates, ASIs, RFIs, and other contractually required documentation • Provide closeout documentation, including commissioning documents, as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, acceptance signoffs, and warranty letters • Transition projects to Warranty team members, including scope, documentation, and customer expectations • Promote safe working methods and provide safety measures for on-site personnel and subcontractors • Supervise subcontractors at job sites • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Management of trade related construction experience required • At least three (3) years of related experience at the superintendent level or above required • Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of various operating systems and software products, including MS Office • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time/workload • Ability to analyze and solve problems • Ability to multi-task • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and staff • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Basic math skills, including arithmetic operations with money and units of measurement • Ability to interpret varied instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables • Ability to prioritize tasks and negotiate priorities with end users • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred • Local travel in the Southern California area is required • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
