• Provide technical editing support during the development of methodologies and other technical documents in the VCS Program • Edit documents accurately for technical content and copy, using tracked changes and comments • Ensure internal consistency across edited documents in technical concepts and writing voice • Revise text to conform to Verra style, including proper use of US English • Facilitate user-friendly comprehension of technical concepts • Suggest improvements to documents where relevant • Collaborate with experts across the program development and innovation team • Help ensure methodologies, program documents, and other technical documents are accurate, concise, and user-friendly • Work on technical documents in other Verra programs as required
🎯 Requirements
• Technical content and language editing experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience communicating technical information to a wide range of stakeholders • Strong science background • Technical expertise in an area related to Verra programs • Excellent attention to detail • Degree in a relevant field • Native English proficiency • Ability to work remotely with regular computer-based work and virtual meetings • Reliable internet access • Ability to communicate effectively with Verra stakeholders during agreed working hours • Access to the equipment, workspace, and internet connectivity needed to deliver the agreed services • Significant overlap with US business hours
