📋 Description

• Lead full lifecycle implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations • Coordinate data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning • Oversee GIS, ETL, API, middleware, and external enterprise system integration and implementation efforts • Partner with technical leads to define solution architecture, data flows, and system interfaces • Align customer project management and VertiGIS technical delivery teams • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with proactive mitigation strategies • Facilitate UAT, SIT/UAT testing cycles, and go-live readiness • Establish and track KPIs such as schedule adherence, data quality, and system performance • Drive communication across all levels, including executive reporting • Ensure documentation, governance, and change management processes are followed • Support post-go-live stabilization, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives • VertiGIS builds GIS software for designing, managing, and operating complex networks and infrastructure, including telecom, utility, and public-sector networks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in telecom, utilities, or GIS environments • PMP, and/or Agile/Scrum certification • Proven experience delivering data migration and system implementation projects • Strong understanding of data migration strategies and reconciliation processes • Strong understanding of GIS systems, such as ArcGIS • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration • Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet • Ability to understand and contribute to solution architecture and system design discussions • Working knowledge of relational, geospatial, and asset-based data models • Working knowledge of ETL tools such as FME and SSIS, or similar • Working knowledge of REST, SOAP, and microservices integration patterns • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS ecosystem, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Feature Services • Familiarity with spatial data concepts, including topology, coordinate systems, and geodatabases • Understanding of telecom or utility network data structures, including fiber, circuits, outside plant, and network hierarchies • Ability to create or interpret SQL queries, data transformations, and data validation scripts • Ability to document and train on delivered solutions • Experience with data quality frameworks, reconciliation reporting, and audit controls • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills • Cover letter and resume required • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America
