📋 Description

• Lead the design and evolution of Volio’s user experience across mobile platforms • Design intuitive, low-sensory user flows that reduce cognitive load, address time blindness, and minimize sensory overwhelm • Establish design guardrails prioritizing clarity, predictability, accessibility, and ease of use • Design the user experience and visual interface for Volio’s lightweight 2D Island Home progression experience • Use native UI components, Lottie animations, and clean vector-based layouts • Develop rewarding feedback loops connecting real-world student habits with visual progression • Design conversational interfaces for Volio’s multi-agent AI system • Develop experiences for task extraction, emotional check-ins, calendar scheduling, and related workflows • Translate complex AI processes and backend functionality into simple user experiences • Design clear visual states for Draft, Confirmed, and Scheduled task lifecycle phases • Create design systems, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma • Optimize designs for native iOS and Android implementation • Establish reusable UI components and scalable design standards • Provide design specifications and Lottie animation requirements for development • Collaborate with Product, AI Engineers, Developers, Operations, Marketing, and external partners • Participate in rapid design iterations and product refinement • Uphold company policies, report required incidents, maintain confidentiality, attend meetings, complete training, and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional product design experience, preferably focused on mobile applications for iOS and Android • Demonstrated experience designing products involving complex data, AI-driven workflows, or similarly complex systems • Strong understanding and demonstrated application of accessibility standards, including WCAG • Demonstrated understanding of designing for neurodivergent users and low-stimulus environments • Portfolio demonstrating engaging, lightweight progression systems, reward mechanics, or similar engagement experiences • Ability to translate AI workflows, multi-agent systems, calendar logic, and contextual memory into simple, human-centered experiences • Advanced proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma • Experience with or understanding of Lottie animation specifications and vector-based design • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to independently drive projects and execute effectively without direct authority • High reliability, accountability, organization, and follow-through • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Commitment to mission-driven work supporting individuals with executive functioning challenges • Ability to uphold company policies, confidentiality, proprietary information, inclusion, and individual rights • Ability to complete required training and attend required meetings
