📋 Description

• Engage in non-promotional, truthful, evidence-based, and non-misleading communications with KOLs/HCPs • Draft, execute, monitor, and adapt independent US MSL Stakeholder Engagement Plans • Receive direction for business travel, HCP interactions, and congress attendance • Provide monthly written summaries of day-to-day activities and achievements • Submit expense reports and PTO/vacation requests • Document HCP interactions in VEEVA • Respond to unsolicited medical requests with reactive medical communications • Identify and communicate rival Medical Affairs activities and unmet medical education needs • Develop innovative proactive and reactive medical education materials • Gather and communicate KOL insights to inform medical and company strategies • Develop Ad Board, Congress, and Customer Insight Reports • Staff Medical Affairs booths at congresses and conventions • Train internal Viatris functions on products and disease states • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical industry • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required • Experience in OB/GYN required • Knowledge of US Women’s Health Medical Science Liaison roles and responsibilities • Knowledge of clinical trials and relevant therapeutic areas • Understanding of applicable SOPs, healthcare-provider interaction standards, promotional laws and regulations, PhRMA Code, ACCME Standards, and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics • Ability to communicate effectively and manage collaborative relationships with KOLs, medical professionals, academic institutions, and Patient Advocacy Groups • Strong analytical and organizational skills for managing, interpreting, and presenting clinical data • Ability to listen for stakeholder insights and draw implications for Viatris • Ability to set and accomplish goals individually and in teams • Ability to read and interpret complex research documents • Ability to write scientific reports and technical correspondence • Ability to work with executives and communicate abstract concepts • Ability to present to senior organizational audiences and external groups • Ability to perform computations and statistical analysis • Ability to draw and interpret graphical data • Ability to understand pharmaceutical calculations preferred • Ability to solve moderately complex problems using analysis and ingenuity • Position functions semi-autonomously with no direct supervisory responsibilities • Extensive travel (50%–80% of time), potentially including overnight and weekend travel • Preferred locations: Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana
