Vicharanashala (Lab for Education Design) is the research and design lab at IIT Ropar focused on creating evidence-based, technology-driven learning solutions and educational products. The lab develops platforms and tools such as ViBe (a unified educational platform), PES (Peer Evaluation System), and DDD (interactive dashboards) to support personalized learning, assessment, engagement analytics, and classroom-centered research. VLED combines interdisciplinary academic research with real-world classroom testing to design scalable, integration-ready edtech solutions for students, educators, and institutions.

📋 Description

• Edit raw footage into polished final videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve • Add transitions, effects, subtitles, background scores, and motion graphics as needed • Optimize video formats for various platforms (YouTube, LMS, social media) • Collaborate with content and design teams to understand project objectives • Edit lecture recordings, course content, and event footage into digestible formats • Ensure consistent visual style and branding across videos • Deliver edited files in required formats and resolutions • Maintain an organized archive of all media assets and project files

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of hands-on video editing experience using industry-standard tools • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , and/or DaVinci Resolve • Strong understanding of video formats, compression, and resolution standards • Ability to edit for both educational and promotional purposes • Attention to detail, especially in syncing audio, pacing, and flow • Nice to Have: Experience editing academic or instructional videos • Familiarity with color grading and sound editing • Basic knowledge of animation or motion graphics
