📋 Description

• Assist in driving the FP&A function across the business by developing scalable financial models, establishing and tracking KPIs (e.g., LTV, CAC), and providing actionable insights to department heads. • Partner with the accounting team to ensure a timely and accurate close, including reconciling balance sheet movements, preparing journal entries, and performing variance analysis against forecasts. • Use light programming (Python, SQL, or VBA) to automate repetitive data extraction and reporting tasks, improving the speed and accuracy of financial outputs. • Help create an annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, working cross-functionally to gather data and define driver-based models. • Monitor trading activities and market trends to provide context for financial performance and support strategic investment decisions. • Tackle special projects across the organization, from cost-benefit analyses to deep-dive reports for senior leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in a fintech or high-growth environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a technical field (Computer Science/Engineering). • Strong system skills with advanced Excel (modeling, macros) and data visualization tools (Power BI). • Foundational skills in Python (for data manipulation) or SQL (for large dataset querying) are highly preferred. • Familiarity with trading principles, financial markets, and standard accounting practices (GAAP). • A "self-starter" mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting and communicate complex data to non-finance stakeholders.
